Emergency services responded to reports of the collision involving a blue Volkswagen Polo on Sunday morning. The 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the baby was rushed to the hospital. The car had veered off the road and struck a wall in the Worsbrough area before officers arrived.
The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police. Authorities are urging anyone with information, CCTV footage, or dashcam recordings of the incident to come forward
