A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a pickup truck on the northbound F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua, New Hampshire, Friday morning. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
A pedestrian was killed in a crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua , New Hampshire, on Friday morning, according to police.
New Hampshire State Police said they first started getting calls about a person on the northbound highway around 5:30 a.m. The person was hit by a pickup truck a short time later, near mile marker 5.2. Emergency crews responded and found the pedestrian, a man, had died of his injuries. The driver of the truck stopped and remained at the scene.⚠️ F.E Everett Turnpike Northbound is closed in the area of MM 5.2 in Nashua due to a crash. Troopers are on scene investigating. Drivers should anticipate delays and avoid the area if possible.The northbound side of the highway was closed for several hours for investigation. Two northbound lanes reopened shortly before 9 a.m.
