We can talk all day about Taylor Russell’s roster of show-stopping Venice Film Festival outfits or Raffey Cassidy’s newly minted fashion darling status, but allow me to raise you Pedro Almodóvar as a style star to watch. The Spanish director hit the Italian festival this week to promote his latest film, The Room Next Door, starring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton.
As a previous Loewe attendee, it’s no wonder that he turned to the Spanish brand for the occasion, wearing a salmon-pink suit accessorised with a gold feather brooch and a pair of inflated Loewe sunglasses. Even the director’s casual looks were chic. At the photocall for The Room Next Door, he rocked a pair of colourful Loewe sneakers with his favourite sunglasses, a striped tee, jeans and a chore coat.
