Married at First Sight star Peggy has revealed that she discovered a new allergy whilst filming the show and was sent to hospital when her 'eyes were swelling up every morning'
Married at First Sight star Peggy hasn’t had the easiest time on the show, with dinner party disagreements and tearful therapy sofa sessions. However, things went from bad to worse on the show when she was rushed to hospital for severe allergic reactions.
“We were right by Wembley, where they cut the grass three times a day and I had a pollen allergy. So my eyes were swelling up every morning. I was in and out of hospital several times on antibiotics, steroids. I had to put makeup on my eyes and I couldn't even see my lash line and I think it's an element of stress as well.”
“My old job was making me ill. I hadn’t had a period in four years because of stress with my job. It’s hard and you get comments online like, ‘She looks pregnant,’ and I’m like, ‘I would love to be pregnant because I don’t know if I can have children at the moment, you know?’” “We’ve had our ups and downs, but I feel like every relationship goes through that,” she says. “I am not perfect, Georges isn’t, but we can be perfect together - that’s what I kept saying in my head and I feel like we learnt so much in the process. It’s all a learning experience.”
