A pensioner has died in Edinburgh after emergency services closed off a busy road near the city's Omni Centre. Crews raced to a bus on Greenside Place in the city centre after the alarm was raised at around 5.30pm on Saturday.

Last night, Edinburgh Trams warned commuters travelling to the airport from Picardy Place to expect disruption.
