The zesty liquid can add an instant zing to all sorts of dishes and drinks, but squeezing all the juice out of a lemon can be a bit of a slog. Now the dreaded task is about to become a lot easier
Whether you're whipping up a culinary delight or concocting a refreshing cocktail, juicing a lemon is a common practice for many of us.
From the juice covering your hands to the hazards of accidental squirts in the eye, what should be an easy job has its fair share of problems. But now, thanks to a nifty hack, those days may be over. Demonstrated in a viral clip, a man shows viewers how poking the toothpick into the bottom end, or "butt" of the lemon, can create the perfect hole. After making the hole, just squeeze, and watch as the juice flows freely.
People are stunned by the convenience of the method, with several people confirming its effectiveness on other citrus fruits like oranges and limes as well. One person called it a "crazy life hack." Meanwhile, another responded: "So that's why lemon juice containers are designed like that."
