One user responded to Mandy's query with: "Everything weird. Those kids will spend untold hours of their lives explaining how to spell and pronounce their name and people will still screw it up."

Lee/Leigh names Names ending in 'Leigh', 'Ley' or 'Lee' have also been criticised. While there are many traditional names with such endings, like Ashley/Ashleigh, Hayley, Kayleigh and more, the trend of adding these suffixes to less common nouns to create new names has irked some.
