Pep Guardiola offered another transfer update, addressing interest in goalkeeper Ederson from the Saudi Pro League.
Pep Guardiola is unsure whether Ederson will remain at Manchester City after the transfer deadline, but has told his goalkeeper he wants him to stay.
"I don't know. He has to see maybe now other options," Guardiola said. "Of course I'd like him to stay. Depends now the clubs. I don't know the situation, no contact in the last days. A question of training and being with us until the transfer window finishes and we see what happens.
Guardiola was similarly non-committal on Kalvin Phillips, who played the opening 45 minutes vs Celtic and struggled. But the Blues boss backed the midfielder, saying he played well, and offered the latest on whether he will be part of City's plans this season.
