Manchester City are due to begin their hearing over 115 alleged Premier League breaches on Monday
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his club will accept whatever sanction is handed to the club with their hearing into 115 alleged breaches set to begin on Monday. The Spaniard, who has led the club to Premier League and European success since taking charge in 2016, reaffirmed that 'everyone is innocent until proven guilty'. City are due to begin their defence against alleged breaches of financial rules between 2009 and 2018 .
There has been uncertainty over when the Premier League holders would be forced to defend themselves following the initial charge in February 2023. However, on Monday , the case will begin and Guardiola said in his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash against Brentford that he is 'looking forward' to a resolution. He said: 'It starts soon and then finished soon. An independent panel will decide and I am looking forward to the decision. 'I am not a lawyer.
