Manchester City were held to a draw by Everton at the Etihad, but Pep Guardiola praised the performance of his team despite seeing their poor run of form continue.
Pep Guardiola felt his players showed the right mentality in trying to bounce back from Erling Haaland's penalty miss and praised their performance at the Etihad, despite seeing his team booed off.
Guardiola was happy with the performance, however, especially against a side who had stopped Arsenal and Chelsea from scoring this month. Asked if he felt his side were now starting to lose some of the strong mentality that has defined their recent success, Guardiola said he felt his team had approached the task in the right way.
