Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of the massive clash with Arsenal.
Erling Haaland has revealed that Pep Guardiola jokingly threatened to 'smash' him if he did not focus on the training ground ahead of sealing his move to Manchester City. Haaland made the switch to the Etihad in the summer of 2022 and has enjoyed incredible success in 15 months since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
The Norwegian sensation already has a remarkable 60 goals in 64 games and helped City claim a historic treble last season. However, though he often makes it look easy, Haaland admits that playing under Guardiola is challenging due to the intense demands the manager places on the whole squad. Focus is of paramount importance, so much so that Guardiola warned the 23-year-old what would happen if he didn't pay full attention on the training ground. Here's what he said.
