Season 1 characters Luke Castellan , Sally Jackson , Chiron , Dionysus , Ares , Clarisse La Rue and Hermes are also featured in the Sea of Monsters book.One major player in The Sea of Monsters book is Percy’s classmate Tyson, who becomes an integral member of his quest to save Grover and Camp Half-Blood. It was announced during San Diego Comic-Con in July 2024 that Tyson would be played by actor Daniel Diemer.
