Perrie Edwards has opened up on her heartbreak over not speaking to former Little Mix bandmate Jesy Nelson 'for a long time' after the singer quit the group in 2020
Perrie Edwards , formerly a part of the band Little Mix , has confessed that she's "heartbroken" over her lack of contact with Jesy Nelson , her ex-bandmate.
Upon becoming a new mum to baby boy Axel in 2021, Perrie realised the changes it brought, similar to transitioning into a solo performer post-group. She discovered more "inner confidence", explaining the new interview: "Having a baby changes you completely, and going solo has as well. I've had to find an inner confidence to do it on my own, without the girls as a comfort blanket.
"He wants a party, a performer, he wants it to be a big thing. I'm like, I know who I want as bridesmaids and this and that. It's all kind of set in stone but we haven't actually planned it yet. There's a lot going on in my life right now, I've got so much. We've said about waiting for Axel to be older and then he can be a pageboy or whatever. It makes more sense.
