The former Little Mix bandmates have not spoken since Jesy, 33, quit the group in 2020 and Perrie, 31, admitted she is 'devastated' about the loss of their friendship.
Perrie Edwards was left in tears after speaking about friendships on a recent podcast with Fearne Cotton. The Little Mix star, 31, who is currently pursuing a solo career whilst the band are on a hiatus, appeared on Fearne's 'Happy Place' podcast where she delved into some personal subjects.
The following year after Jesy left, Little Mix announced that they would be taking a break from the band after their Confetti tour in April and May 2022. Perrie also spoke about her tight bond with fellow Little Mix stars Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall despite the group's break.When asked about how she felt about drifting apart from Jesy, Perrie told Fearne: "I wrote a song about it, and it's about a friendship that I had, which I no longer have.
"But when it's a friend, you don't hear about it much in music, so I was like, 'I am going to write something about it because it's just as heartbreaking, if not worse'." "It was really sad, but at the same time, these things happen, and it makes you think, 'Do we try to rectify the situation? Do I reach out? I feel like I should just stay away.' It's a really horrible dynamic to be in."
