NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has admitted to calling Brad Hazzard when his wife needed an ambulance – as the NSW Health Minister happened to be in a meeting with the state’s Ambulance Commissioner.
“My wife was sick at the time, was paralysed in bed, and I actually spoke to Brad Hazzard in relation to that matter and an ambulance was organised in the ordinary course,” Mr Perrottet told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“What I do know, is that I called Brad Hazzard, spoke to Dom Morgan, and their advice was ‘no you should get home, she’ll need an ambulance’, and an ambulance was called out.” Mr Perrottet said he did not ask for any “special consideration” and called Brad Hazzard for advice which is “not uncommon”.
