How to see the perseid meteor shower
The meteors are best viewed from the northern hemisphere, and in ideal conditions with no clouds or light pollution.
There is also a high chance of seeing fireballs, which are very bright meteors, as well as meteors with long trains.According to the Royal Astronomical Society, meteor showers are easy to watch and no special equipment is needed. If clouds make viewing impossible on the peak night itself, the shower will continue until August 24.
