Police were seen detaining an individual outside the centre in Milton Street
A person has been arrested outside Victoria Shopping Centre in Nottingham following an incident. on Thursday afternoon.
The reason for their arrest is unclear at present. Nottinghamshire Police have been contacted for more information. A spokesperson for the Victoria Centre said the situation was "under control at all times". They said in a statement: "We can confirm that Nottinghamshire Police, who were already present at the centre, handled an incident yesterday afternoon, resulting in an individual being detained."The situation was under control at all times.
