Scotland’s washout continues as ‘month’s worth of rain’ sparks flooding
ONE PERSON has died in a mudslide in North Yorkshire after "danger to life" weather warnings were issued.
No one else was injured in the incident as police cordoned off the area, which sits on the edge of the North York Moors. He added: "There was a lot of rainfall overnight in the north-west and southern Scotland, as well as in areas such as the Midlands, East Anglia and the Home Counties."That's almost a month's rainfall in one day.
