The Perth president of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle club has died in police custody hours after being arrested.
Jamie Ginn, 50, died at the Perth Watchhouse last night after allegedly suffering a medical episode.
He was then observed to be suffering a medical episode, suspected to be a seizure, inside his cell about 7pm. "The death is not being treated as suspicious and as per standard protocol officers from the major crime division will prepare a report for the coroner," police said in a statement.WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch told journalists on Wednesday he was not aware of any pre-existing medical conditions.
"I've seen the video, I've watched the CCTV... based on what I've seen, and the early indication, it's highly likely to be a medical episode only... I don't think there's any real blame to be put on anyone," Blanch said.
