Will Kent, from Forgandenny, suffers from Stargardt disease and admits he is also scared of heights
An inspirational Perthshire man has vowed to conquer his crippling fear of heights to help raise money for local sight and hearing loss charity VisionPK.
The 21-year-old, who is a former pupil at Strathallan School, is set to take on an abseil from the Forth Road Bridge on October 8. Will, a service user of local hearing and sight loss charity VisionPK, said: “This is a particularly challenging event for me as I am scared of heights! However, I am keen to overcome my fears to support such a worthy charity.
Will is no stranger to community-based endeavours having already earned himself a Duke of Edinburgh Gold award.
