LABOUR’s deputy leader Tom Watson was quizzed by ITV’s Robert Peston over the party’s position on a second referendum after the party chairman's views were the 'complete opposite' of Mr Watson.
's deputy leader: “I need to press you on this. I am told in the shadow cabinet Ian Lavery, the Chairman, said the complete opposite of what you have just said.“Now I think you are saying that if Labour does not sign up to a referendum, that is what would really destroy the Labour Party.”
