A charity says it is trying to stop owners giving up their pets and it needs larger premises.

Head of animal welfare for RSPCA North Suffolk, Chloe Shorten, said: "We're just overflowing with animals. The staff are taking animals home to open up space for more. "Last January, cat litter was £250 a pallet. That went up to £700. It was crippling to have to find another £500," she said.Zoe Willingham currently cares for 27 dogs, 62 cats, more small pets and a one-eyed tortoise
