The pair shared the happy news on Wednesday with a photo taken just ‘minutes’ after their baby girl’s birth. Peter, who is now dad to five children, shared gorgeous photos of Emily cuddling their new arrival in a hospital bed, and wrote: ”We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
Christine McGuinness offered her ‘congratulations’ with a love-heart emoji, while Safiyya Vorajee wrote ‘congratulations such a beautiful addition to a wholesome family!’ In his OK magazine column on March 25, Peter revealed they thought Emily – who had only just gone on maternity leave – was going into labour the week before, but it turned out to be Braxton Hicks. ‘Emily and I are on total tenterhooks now that the baby is due any day,’ he wrote.
