Pop star Peter Andre, 46, revealed he wouldn’t allow his children Junior Andre and Princess Andre, who he nicknames Bista, to compete on The Voice Kids if they asked.Writing in his weekly column for new! magazine, the dad-of-four said: “I’ve been asked if Junior and Bista have been approached to take part in The Voice Kids.
“As a dad, I wouldn’t been keen to let them on. They’re way too young and I don’t want them open to that sort of criticism – if you get slated it damages you,” he said. Peter then explained: “Even though I started off my career at a young age, it was a different world. There was no social media so the one way you knew if people didn’t like you was if they told you.”“Good view from a caring father,” one fan wrote, while a second said: “Wise choice.”The comes after Peter revealed his shock when his daughter asked to go on Love Island last month.
Speaking on Loose Women, Peter explained: "I said: 'When they start doing Love Island based on priests and nuns and doing sermons on Sundays you can go on.'"“I don't mean to be strict. They get told everything by their friends anyway,” he added.
