EXCLUSIVE: Peter Andre turned 50 earlier this year and said he feels 'fit and healthy' despite feeling the pressure from being in the public eye since he was in his early twenties
Peter Andre has opened up about the pressures to look a certain way while being in the public eye. The Mysterious Girl singer who shot to fame for his rippling abs after releasing his hit 90s song, said he still feels pressure being in the public eye but "doesn't mind it".
It appears that Peter is focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying fit, previously telling OK! that his abs are "at a hibernation stage". But it can't have been easy for the star whose been in the public eye since his early twenties, having released his hit single back in 1996, shooting him to stardom in the UK as fans drooled over his defined abs.
He went on to say: "So I think it’s being in the public eye, but the positive is that it does encourage you to be fit and healthy because you want to present yourself well.With 1.8M followers, Peter is very much still in the public eye having already had a monumental first half of the year.
"We used to do calendars and they were also touched up", but added: "We're now at an age where everything is on how you look".
