Peter Kay announces extra tour dates after fans struggle to get hold of 2023 gig tickets
Peter Kay has announced more dates have been added to his 2023 comeback tour shortly after fans revealed their struggle to buy tickets and how it was "harder than getting Glastonbury tickets".
To meet the huge demand, which saw more than 200,000 people in the virtual queue, the Bolton-born comic announced even more dates.He added two more dates to his London residency along with seven extra dates in Manchester as well as more dates in Birmingham – both in 2023 and 2024. "It’s hopeless in a number of queues and I know I have no chance touts will have a ball at 10 tickets each," another said.
Meanwhile, the much-loved comedian shared a statement on his own Twitter page, which was from organiser SJM Concerts, in reaction to the huge demand.
