Peter Mayhew dead: Legendary Star Wars actor who played Chewbacca dies aged 74
The legendary actor passed away on April 30 his family confirmed in a statement. He also featured in episode III, Return of the Sith and in the new trilogy of films.Peter's family confirmed that he had"fought his way back from being wheelchair bound to stand tall and portray Chewbacca once more" for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
