The Philippine women's softball team remained flawless after three starts in the ongoing Women's Softball Asia Cup in Incheon, South Korea.
After scoring back-to-back wins against Hong Kong, 7-0, and host South Korea, 2-0, on opening day on Sunday, the Blu Girls continued their dominance on Monday with a 10-0 annihilation of Thailand in the morning schedule. 'I am elated with the perfect start of our team. They've been showing solid defense as they have not given up any runs yet in three games.
Against Thailand, it was Kaith Ezra Jalandoni and Glory Alonzo's turn to lead the team to victory at the mound. The team's offense, on the other hand, was led by Ma. Charlotte Sales and Arianne Vallestero.'The girls showed their grit in the Korea game and they showed their supreme confidence in the game against Thailand. I am excited for the remainder of the tournament knowing that the team is fully prepared,' said Blu Girls head coach Randy Dizer.
