PRAGUE: The Philippines and Czech Republic on Thursday signed a Joint Communiqué that will elevate cooperation between the two countries in ensuring the safe and orderly migration of Filipino workers and the protection of their rights and welfare.
PRAGUE: The Philippines and Czech Republic on Thursday signed a Joint Communiqué that will elevate cooperation between the two countries in ensuring the safe and orderly migration of Filipino workers and the protection of their rights and welfare.President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. made the announcement during the joint press conference with President Petr Pavel at the Prague Castle on Thursday.
'But just before this press conference, President Pavel and I witnessed the signing of the Joint Communique to establish a labor consultation mechanism between the Philippine Department of Migrant Workers and Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs,' he added.As of Dec. 31, 2023, the number of estimated Filipinos in the country is 7,026 based on data from the Czech Ministry of Interior.
