The Philippines registered 468 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, marking the second straight day with fewer than 500 cases.
Based on the Department of Health's latest bulletin, the country's active cases dropped to 9,843 on Wednesday from 10,108 on Tuesday.
The National Capital Region had the highest number of new cases in the past two weeks with 3,553, followed by Calabarzon with 2,498, Central Luzon with 1,851, Western Visayas with 1,143, and Cagayan Valley with 920.
