NEW YORK - Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez on Thursday administered the oath of office for new Philippine Honorary Consul Sharol Noblejas who will be serving the Filipino community in Florida .The Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. said Noblejas' consular post will be in Jacksonville, Florida , and the area of jurisdiction covers the State of Florida .

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Orlando College and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Record Administration degree from the University of Central Florida. She is also a registered health information administrator, the embassy added.In her capacity as Philippine Honorary Consul in Florida, Noblejas has pledged to prioritize the needs of the Filipino community and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the Philippines and the US.
