The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) joins the country in celebrating National Nutrition Month this July with the theme, “New normal na nutrisyon, sama-samang gawan ng solusyon! (New normal nutrition, together we create a solution!)”

The Philippine Red Cross joins the country in celebrating National Nutrition Month this July with the theme, “New normal na nutrisyon, sama-samang gawan ng solusyon! ”

According to PRC, its program called Hot Meals on Wheels is one of the humanitarian organization’s solutions to address malnutrition in the Philippines.This project, which started in 2005, was the brainchild of PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon with the vision of providing hot and ready-to-eat meals to the most vulnerable.

Each PRC Hot Meals on Wheels is equipped with an industrial-sized rice cooker, warmers, oven, and burners, said PRC.
