The station has four Superchargers available
In case you missed the big announcement, Tesla officially launched in the Philippines just last month. It arrived with a lineup consisting of multiple variants of the Model 3 and Model Y, positioning itself as a direct competitor to the likes of BMW and BYD.
Apart from the fact that the lineup is still missing a few pieces, people also started asking about the Tesla Supercharger network after the launch. Well, it did promise us that one was about to be launched soon, and now it’s finally here. Earlier today, Tesla opened the first Supercharger station at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City. Specifically, at the B2 Car Park.Spec-sheet showdown of the ’90s: Honda Civic VTi vs. Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi vs. Toyota Corolla GLiThe newly opened station has four Superchargers, each operating at peak efficiency of 250kW. These Superchargers can add 120km of range in just five minutes.
“Tesla's mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy,” said Tesla regional director Isabel Fan. “Tesla enables the use of electric vehicles by building charging infrastructure around people’s lifestyles. Tesla will keep expanding our charging network to create a seamless EV experience in the Philippines, we will collaborate closely in the near future.”
