Manchester City star Phil Foden was back on the score sheet on Tuesday in the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Phil Foden admitted he's been 'frustrated' by his lack of luck in front of goal so far this season and is looking to improve his output.
Though he's still been picking up assists, the strike was only Foden's first goal of the season after nine matches in all competitions, a surprisingly fallow return for a player who netted 15 times last season. Foden has been disappointed with his lack of goals and is hoping they begin to flow now he's broken his duck.
"Not [goal] targets because you can put too much pressure on yourself. I see myself creating chances and scoring or assisting. I’ve not really scored this year so it’s something to improve and it’s a step in the right direction scoring today." Foden believes the win showed a different quality City possesses. "It was a game of two halves - the first half we controlled really well up until the last 10 minutes," he added.
