Manchester City claimed a double at the PFA Awards as Phil Foden and Bunny Shaw picked up the biggest two prizes of the night
Phil Foden claimed his third individual prize of 2024 after being voted as the PFA Player of the Year.
Premier League champions City had a strong showing in the Team of the Year, with Kyle Walker, Rodri and Erling Haaland joining Foden in the XI. However, the Blues were bested by Arsenal's five representatives' David Raya, Gabriel, William Saliba, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard all made it in; there was no place in the XI for Bukayo Saka or Chelsea's Cole Palmer, despite the latter winning the Young Player of the Year award.

I’d also like to congratulate Kyle, Rodri and Erling on being voted into the PFA Team of the Year as it’s great to see their amazing quality recognised in such a way.
City Women were also recognised for their season despite a heartbreaking finish that saw them lose the league title to Chelsea on the final day. Bunny Shaw made it a City double winning the main prizes of the night, while Yui Hasegawa, Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp, Khiara Keating and Laia Aleixandri all joined the striker in the Team of the Year to give Gareth Taylor's side a whopping six representatives.
