Phil Neville confirms Inter Miami are after Lionel Messi from PSG

For a long time, it seemed as though the 35-year-old would extend his deal with the French champions, but there have been doubts in recent days., Inter Miami boss Neville said: “I’m not going to deny [it and say] there isn’t truth in the speculation that we’re interested in Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets. “We want to bring the best players in the world to this football club. Messi and Busquets are the two that stand out more in recent years.
“They’re great players who would still be a massive benefit to this organisation. For MLS, it would be a game-changer.” Messi is thought to be interested in a return to Barcelona and his father – who is also his representative – has been meeting with officials from the club.
At PSG, Messi has an offer on the table for a one-year deal with the option to extend for a further year.
