The Belgian passionately addressed his players at Hampden and the scene wasn't missed by the leading pundit.
Gutted Philippe Clement held a "public" post-match inquest after Rangers' last-gasp defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final as he issued a message to his downbeat stars.
The Belgian – following the approach of Michael Beale after last season's Viaplay Cup Final – passionately addressed his players and the scene wasn't missed by Neil McCann. The former Rangers winger – who was a Hampden star on multiple occasions – reckons rivals Celtic could have played a part in Clement's speech to his wearied troops.
Speaking on Sportscene, he said: "I just wonder what that team talk was like with Philippe Clement. Because it was long, it was very public out there, on what's required. It might have been pointing over his shoulder saying 'look at them, look at them celebrating, that is what it takes, go and take your chances."
But McCann was effusive in his praise of Celtic – who once again reign supreme in Scottish football despite a challenging season. When the chips have been down, they have been asked questions, over and over again. They have come up with the answers."
