The Belgian saw his team fall even further behind Celtic at the weekend and is surely in a fight to save his Ibrox job
Neil McCann is concerned that Philippe Clement doesn't know how to get Rangers attacking effectively. He watched gers struggle to create quality chances against Dundee United and fears his former club's play going foirward has become predictable and one dimensional. And that the manager is only seemingly interested in changing personnel rather than how they attack teams. It intensifies the pressure, I have to say," McCann told Sportscene.
You expect Rangers to create chances and dominate the play at Ibrox. But that's not good enough. St Mirren have scored more goals, Dundee have scored more goals, Aberdeen, Celtic. So there's evidence there that they're not doing enough. There's not a variation in their attack. There's not enough quality from their left side and it;s almost predictable and one dimensional.
I think he got it wrong tactically at the end. It's almost as if he's changing personnel but it needed a change of attack. I don;t know if John Souttar has been told to go and stand up front for the last eight minutes, but I;d much rather have a striker in there.
