The boss has emerged as the leading candidate to take over from Michael Beale in the ibrox dugout.
Rangers would reportedly be willing to hand Philippe Clement a four-year-deal if he is offered the Ibrox job after claims he has cooled his interest in a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab.
The 49-year-old boss is among the frontrunners to succeed Michael Beale in the Ibrox hot seat alongside the likes of Kevin Muscat and reports suggest that the former Genk, Club Brugge and Monaco manager is keen on a move to the Scottish Premiership despite a bumper offer from the Middle East. Clement has been out of work since leaving Monaco earlier this year and Shabab have also made their move to land the boss.
But Al-Riyadiah claim that Clement is set to snub the cash-rich club as he pursues the Rangers hot seat with talks ongoing between the two parties. They report that the Light Blues' board have floated "temptations and privileges" that have left the Saudi club out in the cold. These are said to include incentives for winning the league, cup and qualifying for the Champions League.
The report also claims that Rangers would be willing to put a condition in a potential Clement contract that stipulates he would "receive the full value of the contract." The decision is said to follow a late visit to Riyadh for talks with the club last weekend. The "secret" visit allowed Clement to inspect the club facilities. He met with club management who "expected" the Belgian boss to pen a deal with the outfit.
