The Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) returned home with 11 medals from the 2024 Batang Pinoy swimming competitions in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. The team, led by Yugo Cabana and Behrouz Mohammad Madi Mojdeh, showcased exceptional performances in various age divisions and events.

MANILA, Philippines —The Behrouz Elite Swimming Team triumphantly returned home with 11 medals from the 2024 Batang Pinoy swimming competitions recently held in Puerto Princesa City , Palawan.Representing Paranaque City, Yugo Cabana led the charge of teh squad, capturing one gold, three silver, and one bronze medals in the boys' 14-15 division. Cabana dominated the 100m butterfly with a record time of 59.

Mojdeh, younger brother of World Cup semifinalist Micaela Jasmine, secured four silver medals in the 200m breaststroke, 200m butterfly, 200m backstroke, and as part of the 4x100m medley relay team. Additionally, he won two bronze medals in the 200m Individual Medley and 100m breaststroke events.Mojdeh achieved this feat despite nursing an ankle injury.'Despite missing some training days due to a sprained ankle, you displayed heart and determination.
