This Morning’s Phillip Schofield has broken his silence as he returned to host the ITV hit daytime show after his brother's sex abuse trial.
The 61-year-old presented alongside The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes. This is the first time he has been on our screens since his brothers trial began at the end of March.During today’s episode of This Morning, Phillip addressed the support he's received since the news broke of his brother's trial.
"I wanted to say thank you for your kind messages and support which were really appreciated. Thank you very much indeed. On with the show... Shall we?" In a statement to respond to his brother's conviction shortly after Timothy was found guilty, Phillip said: "My overwhelming concern is and has always been for the wellbeing of the victim and his family. I hope that their privacy will now be respected.
