Friends of Phillip Schofield have allegedly revealed the real reason for the star's feud with Eamonn Holmes, claiming the former This Morning host is 'consumed with jealousy'.
For the first time, pals of TV star Phillip Schofield have spilled the beans on his ongoing feud with Eamonn Holmes . According to a close friend, Phillip believes that Eamonn's "personal vendetta" against him is rooted in his dismissal from the Friday slot on This Morning . The pal alleges to The Mirror that Eamonn's bitterness stems from his "consumed with jealousy that Friday rated poorly compared to the rest of the week.
They added how Phillip had no issues with Eamonn until he penned a "scathing" article about him. "When Phillip asked, confused, why he had done it, Eamonn said he was two faced. And that was it ... his personal vendetta of hatred began," the friend explained, reports the Mirror. The claims come after Eamonn didn't hold back recently as he admitted to being "proud" to have "thrown Phillip under the bus".
The rant was in response to Phillip revealing three people who wronged him during his new show, who he brands "s**ts" of the showbiz world. He said: "I think there are only three s**ts. One of them is a coward who never stepped up in queuegate.."
