Frank McAvennie has claimed West Ham loanee Kalvin Phillips has “no chance” of being recalled by England for the European Championships later this year. Phillips was left out of Gareth Southgate ’s most recent England squad – with 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo instead getting the chance to impress. The 31-cap star was an unused substitute for West Ham ’s most recent game against Aston Villa – and has played just 283 minutes since joining the Londoners on loan in January.
