The past few months have been a rollercoaster of a ride for Sheena Jacobo, and things don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Having snagged the win at the National Finals of Red Bull Doodle Art, Jacobo will be packing her bags of artistic creativity to Amsterdam for the World Finals of Red Bull Doodle Art and claim her spot as the best doodle artist in the world.
Jacobo’s work, which revolved around unity among all life forms, was selected among the hundreds of doodle art submissions received at the National Finals last March 25th. With her win set in stone, Jacobo is now given the opportunity of being the Philippines’ representative in the World Finals.
“After reading the Red Bull Doodle Art World Finals criteria, I started thinking about my ideas, such as what I’d like to portray in my doodle with Burnt Toast’s icon. I began to draw the themes that I’d envisioned. My doodle depicts the Filipino people during the Summer season. Activities that Filipinos enjoyed, our culture, and what Filipinos can offer the world,”“I really want to inspire artists like me that anyone, regardless of background, can do anything if they believe they can.
Support Sheena Jacobo as she claims her rightful throne as the best doodle artist in the world when she competes with fellow artists from over 60 countries around the world. For more information and updates regarding the upcoming Red Bull Doodle Art World Finals, visit the official Red Bull
