PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was arrested Monday after he was allegedly recorded on camera stomping and hitting a puppy, court records show.
Anthony Reynolds, 37, was taken into custody after the residents of an apartment complex near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road reported finding a dead dog. Surveillance cameras allegedly captured Reynolds"aggressively" stomp on the dog multiple times and then struck the animal with a heavy wine bottle, records show.Reynolds allegedly told police the dog tried to attack him so he had to defend himself against the puppy. The suspect is facing a charge of animal cruelty.
