The NRL is aware of a circulating photo of South Sydney superstar Latrell Mitchell appearing to bend down over a white substance. Mitchell is pictured with his head over a white substance that sits on a table while having his hand on his face. A red drink in a glass bottle sits next to the substance. There is no suggestion from 7NEWS.com.au that the substance is an illicit drug. An anonymous woman with blonde hair also appears in the photo.
“The South Sydney Rabbitohs have been made aware of a photograph circulating through social media of Latrell Mitchell following a personal appearance in Dubbo on the weekend,” the club said. “The club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit about the photograph. “The Rabbitohs will be making no further comment at this stage.” Mitchell was in Dubbo over the weekend for coaching clinics and is believed to have stayed the night.
