Piers Morgan says it's 'unfair' Kate Garraway's husband didn't get Covid jab

Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has recalled a phone conversation with his pal Kate Garraway, where he explained it was 'exhausting' listening to her daily routine

Piers Morgan has shared how "desperately unfair" he feels it is that his pal Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper never had the chance to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

During his battle with the deadly bug, Piers couldn't help but think of his former colleague Kate, 54, and her 53 year old husband who Piers said "remains in a virtual coma 15 months after being rushed to hospital at the height of the first wave of the pandemic" after experiencing a headache and breathing problems.

Recalling a recent conversation with blonde beauty Kate, who recently apologised for a guest who swore on GMB, Piers wrote in his Mail On Sunday column: "When Kate told me what her daily routine is now like, it exhausted me just listening to her. 'I don't know how you do it,' I said. "'Derek is the love of my life.' Then, being Kate, she turned the subject back to me and my Covid experience.
