Piers Morgan grilled the MP
Piers Morgan has been praised for his heated row with MP Thérèse Coffey over personal protective equipment for NHS staff and care workers on Good Morning Britain.
She added: “But, I do know that over 11,000 people have died very sad deaths across the country. I do know that we are prioritising the clinical need assessments of those people – particularly those in hospitals but also the in a residential care setting.” The MP also pleaded with Piers to not shout at her as she struggled to answer the questions put to her by the co-host.
Piers then urged the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to remove VAT for care homes, but didn’t get the answer he wished for.One wrote: “Well done Piers Morgan. Holding these duck and divers to account.”And a third said: “Thank you Piers Morgan 4 at least giving a good go of holding this dreadful Government to account. You will be remembered for this after this nightmare is hopefully over. ”.
