A multi-sectoral movement that aims to promote peace, progress and foster the development of the capability and skills of Filipinos will be launched on Monday, August 28.

Pilipinas Muna, organized by entrepreneur and youth leader Rodolfo Javellana Jr., will be launched at the Valle Verde Country Club in Barangay Oranbo, Pasig City.Javellana, who is also the president of the United Filipino Consumers and Commuters , said former party-list congressman Jonathan Dela Cruz has been invited to deliver the keynote address.He said Pilipinas Muna emphasizes the need to stimulate small businesses in the country.

'Small businesses are the backbone of the Philippine economy. They create jobs, drive innovation, and help the economy grow,' Javellana said.He stressed that Filipinos are inherently creative with unique skill sets that can be tapped with the assistance of the government and the private sector.'In Pilipinas Muna, those who lead the government have fear of God, dedication to the Filipino people and pure love for the Motherland,' he said.
