Off the rails: The future Grammy winner, whose legal name is Alecia Moore, was 16 at the time she 'got into drugs, I was selling drugs, and then I was kicked out the house, I dropped out of high school. I was off the rails,' she said 'We sold three million tickets in the last six months, but you don't really hear about it unless you went.'The 5'3" former gymnast, who says she 'never got a record deal because I was cute' admitted she was 'relieved' not to have to rely on 'conventional beauty' for success.
